Résumé

This document sets out a plan for the criminal justice system in 2008. It starts by looking at the changes that have been made since 1997 before describing the aim for the next five years. There are five sections to the plan: communities; victims and witnesses; offenders and bringing more offences to justice; enforcement and ensuring that court orders and sentences are carried out; users and the improvement of services.
