Counter-terrorism Research - Related Funding Opportunities
The Canadian Safety and Security Program
The Centre for Security Science, within Defence Research and Development Canada, is responsible for the Canadian Safety and Security Program, which supports research in areas of public safety and security within the science and technology domains. One Science & Technology (S&T) area of interest within the crime and terrorism agenda involves the need to better understand social-psychological and behavioural aspects of individual and group-level involvement in domestic violent extremism. Understanding ways to mitigate against the likelihood and impact of violent extremist activity by fostering individual- and community-level resilience represents another S&T area of future exploration.
