The Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security has invited you to appear regarding Bill C-21.

You will appear for the first hour and the following officials will support you during the appearance:

Bryan Larkin, Deputy Commissioner, Specialized Policing Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Kellie Paquette, Director General, Canadian Firearms Program, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Matthew Taylor, Director and General Counsel, Criminal Law Policy Section, Department of Justice

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chair will invite you to deliver opening remarks. These will be followed by questions from committee members.

Questions from committee members will proceed as follows:

Six minutes for the first questioner of each party as follows: Round 1: Conservative Party, Liberal Party, Bloc Québécois, New Democratic Party
Second and subsequent rounds: Conservative Party, five minutes, Liberal Party, five minutes, Bloc Québécois, two and a half minutes, New Democratic Party, two and a half minutes, Conservative Party, five minutes, Liberal Party, five minutes.

Officials will remain for the second hour to respond to additional questions by the Committee.
