LEAN is a continuous improvement model to increase efficiency. LEAN is a strategic approach to streamline processes based on the idea that the consolidation of processes can lead to efficiencies. At this point LEAN is contained to the Evidence Control Unit. The initial task of LEAN is to build measures and a process for assessment/evaluation to determine effectiveness. The first step is to capture data before looking for efficiencies. This will determine the baseline for which data will be measured. Effectiveness is determined through regular auditing.
Connect strategy, structure, process, skills and culture to eliminate waste from an organization.
