National Crime Prevention Strategy (NCPS)

Introduction

Along with your budget, this workplan template forms the basis of for your project proposal (i.e., application for funding). Please ensure that it is as detailed and accurate as possible to provide the best understanding the activities and timelines of your project.

This workplan template is completed in 3 simple steps, as described below:

Steps should be completed in chronological order. Should you have any trouble completing a particular step, please refer back to these instructions. You may also contact us at ncps-snpc@ps-sp.gc.ca.

Before you begin, please input your project title that matches the one provided in the application form.

Step 1 – Activities

Identify each project activity in Column B. You may add more rows in the table as necessary.

Step 2 – Description

For each activity identified in step 1, provide a brief description about how they will be conducted in Column C. Ensure activity related expenditures are reflected in the budget.

Step 3 – Timeline

Provide the estimated timeline for each activity in column D. ex. 4 months, October 2024 to January 2025.

We are anticipating projects to start in July 2025. Please develop your budget to align with this anticipated start date.
