Supporting this conference enabled Public Safety Canada to utilize the venue as a forum to disseminate information on the Aboriginal Community Safety Plan Development Contribution Program as well as to identify issues specific to urban Aboriginal population. The conference created an opportunity to move toward tangible solutions and their implementation, with the input of Aboriginal community members. |
