Purpose : |
This project is a comprehensive prevention and intervention program that targets approximately 120 Aboriginal youth aged 12-15 who are at risk of criminal involvement. The project addresses multiple risk factors, including drug use and other anti-social behaviours, while also assisting participants to achieve better outcomes in their school, workplace, home and community. Youth will be provided with alternatives to the use of substances and aggressive behaviour through classroom instruction, mentoring, positive parental involvement, adventure activities, and cultural supports. |
