The project will bring regional knowledge on crime to a community level and correlate it with information on risk factors in communities. Social and economic risk factor data are currently available at community levels in the Community Accounts, and data on other risk factors at this level will be developed in the project. The new data will provide an evidence-based understanding of the nature of crime and community safety. The data generated at community levels will enable communities to assess the conditions in their communities and the factors that are affecting the conditions.
