The main goal of this project is to prevent violence against Aboriginal women by supporting Aboriginal youth in changing their beliefs about, responses to, and attitudes regarding interpersonal violence.
Reflecting "what works" in community-level interventions focused on Aboriginal communities, this project will use a holistic direct-service model that will combine educational approaches to preventing relationship violence, with traditional teachings, recreational activities, and cultural practices that will strengthen Aboriginal youths' abilities to develop and maintain violence-free relationships.
