This project will attempt to instill in the community's youth a belief that there is a better lifestyle that is attainable. Instilling these beliefs and creating positive examples for them to follow is the expected outcome. The coordinator will develop a questionnaire and distribute it throughout the community. The project outcomes include the development and implementation of a crime prevention action plan that will be beneficial for all community members.
Members of the youth population will be encouraged to participate in the development and implementation of the project through the participation in a youth council, thus learning leadership and organizational skills that will positively impact their self-esteem.
