These interventions will target a number of individual, family, social and community risk factors, and will strengthen the conditions necessary to protect children from all these threats. These will include: expert help (e.g., attachment clinic and group for substance addicted parents), preventive programs (e.g., homework incentive and help program, activities to build self-esteem, social skills and parenting skills), actions to improve living conditions and habits (e.g., safe housing and parks, community transportation and community kitchens), activities to encourage social and economic inclusion (e.g., sports and recreational activities, counselling and support networks, and employability programs).
