The International Centre for the Prevention of Crime is an international organization dedicated entirely and exclusively to crime prevention in order to foster international exchanges and the sharing of knowledge on crime prevention policy and practice in Canada and internationally. The Centre works closely with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, UN Habitat and other international agencies to promote international co-operation in crime prevention.
The ICPC’s fundamental work focuses on three main areas:
Development, comparative analysis, promotion and dissemination of knowledge; exchanges of successful practices; and technical assistance.
