The Manitoba Justice Crime Prevention Unit will coordinate two knowledge exchange events in the Province of Manitoba: a 2 day event in Winnipeg and a 1 day event in Thompson at which 10 presenters will share model and promising crime prevention programs and research to 220 crime prevention practitioners and stakeholders. Following the knowledge exchange events, roundtable sessions with 8 high-risk communities will be facilitated by the Crime Prevention Unit staff for further dialogue and exploration of strategies for crime prevention activities and initiatives that are appropriate and suitable for each community’s needs and issues.
