This project aims to reduce youth crime in Nova Scotian high schools. The project will contribute to this goal by mobilizing Peaceful Schools International, Students for Teaching Peace, Sea to Sea Productions, National Film Board of Canada and Halifax Regional School Board in an effort to engage youth and encourage them to promote peace through education. This will be achieved the provision of peace education training to students who will then conduct workshops and facilitate presentations to fellow high school students about the importance of solving problems peacefully and avoiding a life of crime and victimization. Funding from the aforementioned organizations will complement CP AF funding. |
