Strong Heart Teaching Lodge will implement the “Seeing Oneself” initiative, an innovative, evidence-based approach that delivers a culturally competent school-based curriculum for the prevention of youth substance abuse problems. The project aims to enhance health and well-being for at-risk Aboriginal youth and increase community safety, in addition to reducing crimes associated with youth substance use/abuse (including alcohol, illicit drugs, and solvents).
