| Purpose : |
This project will support the dissemination of knowledge among practitioners and support them in creating promising crime prevention projects that are culturally relevant for the Aboriginal and northern populations.
An initial face-to-face workshop will be held to develop the network and will initiate discussions on topics such as model programs and best practices, current crime trends, program development processes and challenges when implementing crime prevention programming within Aboriginal and northern populations.
The network of crime practitioners will be supported by Community Justice Division and will focus on a coordinated approach to support the development of effective crime prevention programs including the implementation of promising practices.
