The project has as its goal to improve response time by providing quicker dispatching of one or multiple teams to GSAR incidents. It will accomplish this through the purchase of dispatching software that is compliant with the already established SMART database; the purchase of hardware; the provision of training to dispatch staff and SAR teams; and the creation of one single dispatch point for all 23 teams in the province.
