The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) hosted an Indigenous Public Safety and Policing Forum that focused on : Gaps in services to Indigenous Peoples throughout the criminal justice system; Recommendations in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action (2015); Community Safety Plans; and, Renewal of the First Nations Policing Program.
