This project will engage Centertown community residents in a series of events designed to inform and provide opportunities for public dialogue with the expressed purpose of building understanding and acceptance regarding the importance and process of re-integrating ex-offenders. The public dialogue will provide a vehicle for local residents to express concerns, ask questions and offer suggestions they feel essential to defend their personal security and well-being. The dialogue will also provide COSA with an opportunity to share information about programs and treatment for ex-offenders, and raise
community awareness regarding the security measures in place to track, monitor and hold ex-offenders accountable.
