This project intends to reduce bullying in the Montcalm RCM. It involves 200 young people aged six to twelve from five elementary schools in Saint-Lin-Laurentides, their parents and about ten staff members from these schools. In order to achieve its objectives, the applicant organization expects to present a series of six workshops that will deal with subjects such as bullying, gangs, social skills and self-esteem; to organize a support and awareness-raising meeting with parents about these problems; to offer training to supervisors in order to make them aware of the consequences of bullying, and to equip them for dealing with children in the schoolyard. |
