The Akwesasne Partnership Initiative (API) enables the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service to dedicate resources to a Joint Investigative Team (JIT) with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in order to participate in joint force operations to combat organized crime in and around Akwesasne Territory.
