Purpose : |
To counter the development of deviant behaviour among young people, the project will implement an approach to mediation between young people with behaviour problems and their parents to take effective action on the risk factors likely to lead these young people to delinquent behaviour. Mediation will be provided by trained professionals. Through working sessions, they will show young people and their parents how to take into account their respective needs and commit to taking corrective measures to be set out in an agreement. The assessment of comparable programs targeting a similar population has shown positive results.
