Summary

The VDP has developed considerable expertise in gang enforcement. The lessons learned over the past 20 years of gang crime enforcement coupled with the recent success of several initiatives have made us leaders in the fight against gang crime. The VDP would like to share some of its knowledge with the view of providing a snapshot of gang crime in the city of Vancouver, providing parents with a guideline for danger signs to watch for in their children, dispel several myths about the gang lifestyle, and highlight recent VDP successes.
