Summary

"The CACP committed to holding a facilitated day-and-a-half session with thirty (30) stakeholders from across the country. The CACP agreed to “identify what is working and what is not working with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and to identify issues that call for improvement in the youth criminal justice system and the Youth Criminal Justice Act in particular”. This consultation would support the issue identification and evidence gathering phase of the comprehensive review of the Youth Criminal Justice Act."--page 1.
