Summary

"This report will outline initiatives taken to date to reduce Public Disorder in the City of Victoria and Township of Esquimalt. While most of these initiatives have already been reported in last months Police Board Summer Action Plan report, this will be a brief overview of the Strategic Plan goal #1. The Focused Enforcement Team will continue a strategy to model a highly visible presence during peak times and in high crime areas that have proven successful throughout the summer months. Project Landscape will continue throughout the winter months once a month, due to Patrol Backfill commitments by FET members. Two covert operations will also commence in the following weeks to focus on crime issues in specific areas, as well as enable officers to collect and understand recent crime trends and gather intelligence."
