Summary
"The Council and CAHS were asked to answer the following three main questions: 1. What is the current state of scientific knowledge about the medical and physiological impacts of conducted energy weapons? 2. What gaps exist in the current knowledge about these impacts? 3. What research is required to close these gaps? To address the charge, the Council and CAHS assembled a 14-member multidisciplinary panel of experts from Canada and abroad (the Panel). This report is based on the consensus reached by Panel members through their review and deliberation of the evidence."--Page vii.
