Summary

"...traffic accident analysts were using a specific device to assist in determining speeds from skid marks at accident investigations. This device or piece of equipment was often constructed with whatever material was available, and there seemed to be no consistency to the actual construction other than certain requirements necessary to create the desirable measurements. ...A company in Renfrew, Ontario was approached to make a prototype drag sled."
