Summary

The RCMP evaluated the HOT PACK™ self-heating meals for potential use in a variety of situations such as prisoner meals, meals for Emergency Response Teams, in rural areas where long patrols are conducted, marine and other applications. HOT PACK™ meals were developed to provide easy, balanced, and nutritious hot meals. The meal is ready for consumption in 12 minutes; no stove, matches or fire is required. A selection of menus is available, and the cost per meal is reasonable.
