The Inuvik Justice Committee’s Family Group Model of Intervention is a promising approach to crime prevention that will target 60 to 90 children and youth at risk from 6 to 18 years old and their families. This five-year project is designed to engage them with appropriate community stakeholders in order to effectively address family issues in a pro-active manner to reduce offending behavior among children and youth at risk in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. |
