CIGI organized a two-day Security Sector Reform (SSR) training workshop that used a variety of training methods to educate participants about SSR, including lectures, discussions, debates, and an interactive SSR simulation. The presenters at the event were highly qualified leaders in their field, from a range of SSR backgrounds and organizations. Workshop participants gained an improved understanding of SSR theory and practice and increased their knowledge of SSR theory and its practical application to their mandate. CIGI delivered a final report on the workshop, including a summary of the training, new insights developed at the event, and directions for future research and policy development. |
