The Hobbema Cadet Corps Program provides a positive alternative to gang involvement and other delinquent behaviours by encouraging the development of positive lifestyle habits through a structured program including four components: drills and other structured physical activities; mentoring, leadership and community involvement; life-skills training and personal development; and promotion of academic success. The program is culturally designed and rooted in the local community.
