Purpose : |
The project will target 150 to 200 Aboriginal youth of both genders ages 12-24 who are at risk of or involved in gang activity and will intervene through strict and frequent supervision and consistent support to help them to avoid violence and develop attitudes behaviours, and skills that will lead them towards becoming productive and responsible adults.
At the end of the five year period, it is anticipated that measurable results would include a reduction in re-offending, violent criminal offences, gang participation and gang activity, and youth gang crime related activities in all three communities. |
