| Purpose : |
1) This project will employ a Centennial Neighbourhood Safety Coordinator who will implement and build on the neighbourhood safety plan. The coordinator will continue to engage local stakeholders in building on, guiding, and implementing the neighbourhood safety plan. The coordinator will network with other inner city neighbourhood initiatives to identify common issues, solutions and strategies. Networking will provide an opportunity for the Centennial neighbourhood to be a part of the local and regional dialogue on issues of safety and to work toward policy and procedural changes across systems.
2) This comprehensive project will work together with other neighbourhood-based CCIs in Winnipeg to address systemic policy barriers.
