Main Project Idea and Purpose: BOSS Phase 2 builds on the positive results of the first phase of the project (2004 - 2005). The second phase will expand to involve three participant groups and a resource to identify additional community-based support opportunities. The project will provide a daily after school BOSS program for two groups of program participants. The project will provide monthly discussions and workshops for youth on topics such as bullying, discrimination, alcohol and drug use, family violence and career planning. The project will also facilitate an 8 week Parenting Partners program to parents with youth in the BOSS program.
