The tentative theme for conference is: "Crime in Rural Alberta: what is it, what causes it, what are the solutions, and how do we get there". The
symposium is scheduled to be held at the Grande Prairie Regional College, February 22 - 24, 2007 and will be held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Provincial Rural Crime Watch Association. The agenda for the symposium will have three theme streams and topics within each theme stream; two of the three streams of the symposium will focus on the risk factors that contribute to crime.
