Purpose : |
The project will target 130 immigrant youth between the ages of 12 to 24 who are at high risk of involvement in gangs or are gang-involved and will intervene through key activities such as the development of individualized intervention plans; positive mentorship and recreational opportunities; academic support; employment skills; and family support skills. Central to the approach is the development of coordinated assistance which involves school, community and service partners to support a young person in all aspects of his or her life. |
