The project plans to work in partnership with the RCMP crime prevention officers to develop an ongoing mechanism for the full participation of target groups and stakeholders in the completion of a comprehensive needs and service assessment, and crime prevention plan. The project plans to identify existing initiatives and services that may be addressing crime prevention issues and link them together within the plan to increase the involvement of these initiatives in meaningful crime prevention work. As well as linking and building on current initiatives the project will integrate and provide support to new crime prevention initiatives.
