Summary

This is a documentary about Native humour, which contains comedic performances that overturn Indian stereotypes. Meet Tom King, creator and host of CBC Radio's Dead Dog Café; Don Burnstick, whose edgy humour comes from years of street life; Herbie Barnes, co-founder of a sketch comedy troupe; Don Kelly, a stand-up comic; and Sharon Shorty and Jackie Bear, a duo who portray two elderly Native ladies discussing daily life, their love of bingo and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The DVD re-examines an overlooked element of aboriginal culture.
