To prevent equipment from being misplaced.

Set-up costs were not significant and were only required for software.

Method of Implementation:

It is currently being tested in one division, and will be phased into the other divisions beginning this fall.

Equipment tracking has improved, including enhanced accountability of missing/damaged equipment. Barcode technology simplifies the tracking process, resulting in less time spent tracking missing equipment.
